Writing Wrongs

Writing Wrongs is a framework for young people; using Restorative Approaches and Practices, two separate programmes have been designed for use in Schools and Youth Justice Organisations. The programmes can be used in a number of ways, as part of an organisation’s wider approach to Restorative Practice, or as a starting point for introducing Restorative Approaches to individuals or groups.

Writing Wrongs is a practical tool, with detailed session plans and resource sheets to support effective delivery of the programme. The CD-ROM provides the facility to deliver the programme electronically.

This website offers an introduction to Writing Wrongs, along with the facility
to purchase a programme for your school/organisation, and to book a training session to support effective delivery of the programme.

Restorative Justice and Education Services produces the Writing Wrongs resource for Youth Justice Organisations and Schools, and delivers all training related to the programme.

We believe that young people deserve the opportunity to understand the full impact of behaviour and choices, and to repair the harm; Writing Wrongs is a tool that supports young people in achieving this. We hope that Writing Wrongs will also support other providers of Restorative Practices and Approaches, and we welcome partnerships that will create further opportunities to help young people.

Restorative Justice and Education Services is a member of the Restorative Justice Council (www.restorativejustice.org.uk)
